The wedding industry is fascinating. Different vendors and elements that go into creating the most magical night of a person’s life can be used in other ways for other events. Through a wedding vendor event at Park Tavern at Piedmont, we were able to meet many new event planners, photographers, caterers, DJs, some current and future brides, an even a furniture rental company, Present Time Rentals.
These are some incredible people to work with! They are partnered with Present Time Events and also Atlanta’s newest venue (coming this fall): Factory Atlanta!
When asked if we would donate our time and services for their soft opening for people and vendors not only in the wedding industry, but also movie industry, we couldn’t say no! Factory Atlanta is 50,000 sq ft of industrial warehouse space that features areas in the back for possible outside seating and vendors, such as food trucks or cocktail hour,
and another space that features a 2-story green screen for movie production, and small offices for editing, meetings, and auditions!
We told them we would create a custom display for such an event, and we were told to run with the inspiration of: Industrial. Well, naturally our team had a million ideas and structures in mind – it was difficult to narrow our options. But, in the end, we went with a couple different elements: copper, soldered sheet metal, cement, and hardware.
